MaptiveIQ - Embedding Maps Online or Sharing Maps

To embed and share your map on your website or blog, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open your map and click on the Settings icon on the left-hand side of your Map.

Step 2: Click on the Shared/Display Maps from the menu options.

Step 3: Scroll down to locate and click on the 'Open' button next to the Embed Map option found on the menu.

The following window will appear when you click on the icon:

Step 4: Select your map privacy level: Password Protected or Public. 

Step 5: You can customize the width and height at this point instead of the default height and width.

Step 6: Copy your embed code and paste the code into your website page or blog. 

To post your map online, follow these steps to find and copy the share link:

Step 1: Open your map. 

Step 2: Locate and click on the Share icon found on the left-hand column on your map:

The following options window will appear when you click on the icon:

Step 3: Select your map privacy level. 

There are 2 privacy options available: Password Protected and Public. 

Once you make a selection, you will be able to access the next steps.

Step 4: Select starting Map view.

You can share the primary default map view OR your current map view with filters, routes, zoom levels, and more. You can even Create a Map View and give it a new name before you share.

Once you make a selection, you'll be able to access the sharing method for your Map.

Step 5: Select sharing method.

You can directly share your Map link using the email link option or you can copy your map link by selecting 'Copy' in the sharing method options.
