MaptiveIQ - Advanced Base Map Customization Settings

We have updated Maptive to give you more control over personalizing your base map themes!

You can select from different map themes or choose specific color themes to show/highlight or hide landscapes, roads, water, labels, landmarks, and points of interest to set up your Base Map.

With the new Advanced Settings, you can choose from a range of options to personalize your Maps.

Customizing your base maps with the new advanced settings is quite simple. Just follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Open your map and then open the 'Map Settings' window by clicking on the gear wheel icon in your map's upper left-hand corner.

Step 2: Open the 'Base Map' options drop-down.

Here, in the Base Map settings, you can customize your map themes and the visibility of highways, highway labels, roads, road labels, landscape colors, and more.

Step 3: Click on the Advanced Settings option to open a range of options to personalize your Maps.

Step 4: Scroll through to check all the customization options. Below are some of the options that you can see under Advanced Settings:

Step 5: Let's say you want advanced settings for how the highways would appear on your maps. Scroll through and click on 'Highway' to open the menu options for customization.

Step 6: Choose the feature you would like to modify. Below are the advanced customization options you'll see to modify how your maps appear:

Please note: These customization options are the same across all categories under Advanced Settings.

So if you choose, let's say, 'Locality' or a broader category like 'Points of Interest,' you'll see the same list of customization options within each.

Below are the options you'll get to modify your settings for each of the features:

• You can choose how visible or hidden you want the 'highways' or the selected feature of 'highways' you choose, like 'Geometric,'' Labels,' or 'Text' for your maps.
• You can change the color of the highways or its features.
• Slide through the 'Weight' option to pick the right density for how dense or bold the highways or their features appear.
• You can even slide through 'Saturation' and 'Lightness' to modify the appearance as per your need.
