Working With the Map Marker Popup
Here are some helpful tips on how to use and get the most out of the map marker popup in Maptive:
How To Edit or Customize an Individual Marker
Step 1: While in your map, click on the marker you wish to add a custom label to so that the marker popup appears.
Step 2: Click on 'Edit Marker.'
The following window will appear when you click to edit your marker:
As you can see above, you have a number of customization options, including: uploading a custom marker, selecting from a handful of marker styles, changing the marker color, and adding a marker label. You can also easily restore your marker back to the default setting by clicking on 'Restore Default Marker(s) in the bottom left hand corner.
How To Delete a Marker
To delete a marker, simply click on your marker while viewing your map and open the map marker popup. From there, select 'Delete Marker' from the list of options:
How To Edit Data Directly From a Map
To edit data directly from a map, simply click on a location while viewing your map and open the map marker popup. From there, select 'Edit Data' from the list of options (see image above). The following window will open when you click to Edit Data:
Make any necessary changes to your data, then click the Save button.
How To Add a Location to the Direction / Route Optimization Tool Directly From the Map
To add a location to the Direction Tool, click on a marker and select 'Add to Route' from the options:
How To Add a Location to the Proximity Radius Tool Directly From the Map
To add a location to the Proximity Radius Tool, click on a marker and select 'Draw Radius' from the options:
How To Link to a Website Directly From a Map Marker
To link to a website, click on a marker and select 'Edit Data' from the options. Then add your URL to the 'Website URL' box.
Once you add your website, users and viewers can click on the Go To Website option that shows up when they click on a location marker:
How To Access Street View From a Map Marker
To access Street View from a map marker, find one of your map markers and clicking on it so that the info marker popup appears. From there, just click on the Street View option, as illustrated below:
Street View will open when you click into the Street View option.
How To Match up Your Data From the Map
To match up your data from the map, click on a marker and select 'Match up data' from the options:
The following window will appear. Match up your data as needed and click the 'Done' button at the bottom of the window:
