Setting the Initial Map Position and Zoom Level Tutorial:

Setting the initial map position and zoom level that is seen when a user opens your map is easy. Just follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Open your 'Map Settings' window by clicking on the gear icon located in the upper lefthand corner of your map. 

Step 2: Find and click on the 'Base Map' options drop down. 

Step 3: Click the Open button for the 'Set Initial Map Position' option. The following window will appear:

Step 4: Set your map position and zoom, then click the green 'Done' button. 

Now each time a user views this map it will open in exactly the right place and exactly the right zoom level.
